Turla

Turla is a Russian-based threat group that has infected victims in over 45 countries, spanning multiple industries, including government, embassies, military, education, research, and pharmaceutical since 2004. This group reportedly had heightened activity in mid-2015. Turla has conducted watering hole and spear phishing campaigns, and has leveraged in-house tools and malware. Turla’s espionage platform is primarily used against Windows systems, but has also been used against macOS and Linux systems.
