• Native Windows ARM64 support: We extended the Insight Agent platform support for Windows ARM64 using native ARM64 installers for InsightVM.

  We previously introduced Windows ARM64 support in version 4.0.8 using the x86_64 installers, but now we will support it using native installers.

  For Windows ARM machines with existing x86_64 Insight Agents, uninstall x86_64 and install the latest version.

Improved

• Endpoint Prevention installation: The Endpoint Prevention installation step  in the Insight Agent RPM, DEB, and PKG package installers for POSIX systems now supports the desired_group argument.

Fixed

• We updated third party libraries (requests, IDNA, and cryptography) used by the Insight Agent to address CVE vulnerabilities and improve security posture.

Updated Operating System Support

• As of version 4.0.10, the Insight Agent no longer supports the following operating systems:

  • CentOS 6 for 64-bit and ARM64 architectures
  • Debian 10
  • Fedora 37 and 38

  Additionally, support for Ubuntu 14.04 and 23.04 ended in product version 4.0.8
