EOL Schedule Update for Operating System Support
- The End-Of-Life (EOL) date for the Insight Agent's support of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 has been rescheduled to April 3, 2023. As of this date, future versions of the Insight Agent will no longer support the Windows 2012 R2 operating system.
- Rescheduling this EOL date became necessary after one of the Insight Agent's dependencies (an XML parser library) stopped supporting Windows Server 2012 R2. As with other EOL operating systems, you can maintain coverage on any assets running Windows Server 2012 R2 as long your installed agent version does not exceed the latest available version at the time of the April 3, 2023 EOL date. We will update this communication and provide another announcement as soon as the final agent version for Windows Server 2012 R2 support is confirmed.
- April 14, 2023 update - With the release of Insight Agent version 3.2.6, 3.2.5 is now the last Insight Agent version that will support Windows Server 2012 R2.
