macOS Operating System Support Update
- The Insight Agent now supports macOS 14: Insight Agent version 3.3.5 is the minimum version that supports macOS 14 Sonoma. Note that using any Insight Agent version prior to 3.3.5 on macOS 14 will prevent events collection and detections from taking place in InsightIDR.
- Additional InsightIDR requirement: When installing the Insight Agent on macOS 14, a reboot is required for InsightIDR data collection to begin. Make sure you schedule a reboot on your macOS 14 assets after the Insight Agent starts successfully to ensure your endpoint continues to be protected. Note that there will be no event collection and detections in InsightIDR powered by the Insight Agent in the time between the installation of the agent and the reboot.
