New

  • Microsoft Patch Tuesday coverage. This release includes new Microsoft Patch Tuesday content for updated scan coverage for June 2023. Check out our blog post for details.
  • Cloud diagnostics check. We added a new check so users can test the Extensible Ingress connection.

Improved

  • Vulnerability correlation. We improved vulnerability correlation to reduce false negative results and to ensure valid vulnerability findings are no longer incorrectly marked as remediated. Additionally, this improvement affects the scan log data which reduces the size of retained data.
  • Scan Assistant reporting. The Scan Assistant now checks and reports the CIFS Share Readable By Everyone and CIFS Share Writeable By Everyone vulnerabilities, resulting in more consistent scans between the Scan Engine, Insight Agent, and Scan Assistant.
  • Scan Assistant auto-update. Version 1.2.5 of the Scan Assistant is now available for Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Users page UI. The User page has been updated to improve our user experience and accessibility. New additions include a light mode option, an Add User wizard, and a Manage Column option.

Fixed

  • Vulnerability correlation now uses the correct vulnerability results and no longer causes false negatives.
  • Agent-based vulnerability assessments now apply the correct vulnerability correlation results to engine-based vulnerability findings.
  • The policy details report now displays the correct values for compliance increases.
  • The Linux version of the Scan Assistant now handles scenarios where configuration values are missing or invalid more robustly.
