This release includes new Microsoft Patch Tuesday content for July, a new check handler, an improvement, and a few fixes.

New

  • Microsoft Patch Tuesday coverage. This release includes updated scan coverage for July 2023. Check out our blog post .
  • Check handler. We released a new check handler Config_test for Palo Alto Firewall policies.

Improved

  • OS consistency. We improved the consistency of reported operating systems for scanned systems.

Fixed

  • SYN+RST service discovery can now scan over TCP if UDP ports are provided.
  • An issue where long running scans could occur due to the Scan Engine retrying command execution beyond the configured time limit was fixed.
  • An issue where there was excessive scan time due to inefficient collection of socket information on Mac and Unix systems when using non-elevated credentials was fixed.
  • The link to the Manage global blackout settings on the Administration page is now working correctly.
