This release includes a new ServiceNow CMDB integration, added built-in support, an AWS Discovery Connection tag improvement, and fixes.
New
- ServiceNow CMDB Integration. The InsightVM ServiceNow CMDB Integration is now available on the ServiceNow store for Tokyo, Utah, and Vancouver editions. This integration provides end-to-end configuration management capabilities to automate the creation and updating of ServiceNow CMDB CI data based on InsightVM asset data, and utilizes ServiceNow CMDB CI data to tag InsightVM assets and manage InsightVM site scopes.
- CIS Amazon Linux benchmark. We added built-in support for CIS Amazon Linux 2023 benchmark.
Improved
- AWS Discovery Connection tags. We have ensured that duplicate tags are no longer added to AWS assets at the time of discovery.
Fixed
-
An issue where the locale was incorrectly set when running commands during scans through the Scan Assistant has been fixed.
-
An issue preventing built-in policy titles from updating has been fixed. Renamed and deprecated policies now display their titles correctly.
-
We have resolved an issue introduced in product version 6.6.234 which caused the “First Found” date for vulnerabilities to be incorrectly reset to the date of the first scan that occurred after the Security Console was updated. To prevent any further erroneous changes to “First Found” dates, ensure your Security Console is updated to version 6.6.235 before performing any further vulnerability scanning. This issue only affects customers who have performed scans with version 6.6.234.
We are currently working on a resolution to correct any “First Found” dates that were incorrectly changed during this period.
