This release includes improvements to the AWS discovery connection and metrics functionality, and a couple of fixes.

Improved

Customer Requested

  • AWS discovery connection. Amazon Web Services (AWS) discovery connections now handle the deletion of AWS Spot Instances on the Security Console. If a Spot Instance is terminated following an interruption by EC2, it will be marked for deletion following a poll.
  • Metrics functionality. The metrics calculation performance has been improved.

Fixed

  • Systems using TDS protocol versions 7 and later no longer result in fingerprint failures.
  • The metric count for the total number of assets scanned by scan engines and agents within the last 24 hours is now correctly displayed.
