This release includes new Microsoft Patch Tuesday content for May, added CIS benchmark coverage, a couple of improvements, and a fix.

New

  • Microsoft Patch Tuesday coverage. This release includes new Microsoft Patch Tuesday content for updated scan coverage for May 2024. Check out our blog post  for details.
  • CIS benchmark coverage. We added built-in support for CIS Oracle Linux 9 benchmark.

Improved

Customer Requested

  • Data consistency. We improved the communication between the Security Console and the Insight Platform, improving data consistency.
  • Cisco coverage. We added hardware model detection capabilities for Cisco NX-OS fingerprinting to improve check accuracy and reduce false positives.

Fixed

  • An issue that prevented the creation of engine-based policies has been fixed. These custom policies are now correctly synchronized to the Security Console for scanning.
