New

  • REST API. We added a new ASE REST endpoint to allow users with the issue manager and/or report manager permissions to retrieve the AllLinks report in JSON format for a successful scan (/rest/v1/Report/GetAllLinksJson).

Improved

  • Scan Config. We updated the Scan Config to align with the new AppSpider engine release version 7.5.016.

  • Proxy Exclusions. We updated the Scan Configuration to include a proxy exclusions list for Manual Proxy Configurations, allowing specified domains (including wildcards) to bypass the proxy.

  • Macro name. We made improvements to the macro authentication process, preventing the authentication macro name in the scan config from being overwritten with login.macro by the engine during the execution of the scan.

  • Permissions updates. Accounts with the Issues Manager permission can now view vulnerabilities and edit them. Accounts with the Issues Viewer permission can now view vulnerabilities and their details, but not edit them.

  • Scanning. We made improvements to scan execution to reduce the likelihood of scans resulting in a Failed or Hanged state.

  • Engine reports directory. The engine's reports directory is now deleted after AppSpiderEnterprise has downloaded the report.
