- InsightOps now supports CIDR notation: Easily search across a range of IP addresses on your network without using complicated Regular Expressions! And there's more, we added an example to the "Sample Queries" menu in Log Search that you can use as a guide when running IP Searches. Check out the documentation.
Improvements
- Loose mode in Log Search has moved: To enable Loose mode in Log Search, you now click the Case insensitive and partial matches checkbox.
- Log Search: In Table view, when you run a log search by highlighting a keyword, the search will automatically switch to Loose mode if you partially select some of the text.
- Visual Search has moved You can now find Visual Search in the new Visualizations tab within Log Search. Easily visualize and filter your log data, switch between entries and table view, and more.
- Table View in Log Search: You can now easily compare the values of 2 keys in log data. While in Table View, click a column heading, and select the key or value you want to compare.
- Show and Hide Keys: While in the Entries tab of Log Search, you now have the ability to hide keys that are not relevant to you. Keys that you hide will remain hidden in Log Search unless you choose to show them.
- Log Search: If you run a query in Log Search that does not generate any results, we now provide you with suggestions for how to refine your search. To update your query, just select one of the suggestions!.
Fixes
- We fixed a chart on the homepage that was not displaying which logs triggered alerts.
- We corrected an error in the JavaScript Logging API instructions.
- We fixed a layout issue in the "Delete Log Set" dialog.
- Previously, when you tried to run a statistical query and you selected a large number of logs and an extended time range (for example, 30 days), the query would fail.
- We fixed an issue where clearing the calculations in the Simple mode of Log Search did not work.
- Table View in Log Search no longer incorrectly displays on the Investigations page.
- We fixed an issue in Log Search where some calculations were not rounded correctly.
- We fixed an issue in Log Search where the value of Named Capture Groups did not display correctly in Table View.
- We fixed an issue in Log Search where the automatically generated timestamp could be added to the search filter, returning no results.
- We fixed a bug where the groupby chart in log search was not displayed correctly in dark view.
- We fixed a bug where some log search charts did not display correctly in dark theme.
