Improved
- More Dynamic Asset Group calculation improvements: Following up with the improvement shipped in product version 6.6.91, we made further improvements to the Security Console's Dynamic Asset Group recalculation process.
- Updated SUSE Linux policy: We updated our Center for Internet Security (CIS) SUSE Linux 12 policy to version 3.0.0.
Fixed
- Logs will no longer report an error for a failure to shut down the Metasploit Remote Check Service when it is not actually present.
- The WinRM protocol will now be identified with greater efficiency when scanning the default TCP ports.
- We fixed an issue related to the
modprobe
command in some CIS policies. - We updated our remote PHP checks to be independent of the underlying web server technology in order to reduce false negatives.
Other Changes
- We added an additional check to our Google Enterprise Chrome fingerprinting process to address a Chrome-related version reporting issue. This workaround is intended to address a version mismatch condition that can appear with Chrome browsers that were installed by Microsoft SCCM or similar software deployment technologies.
