This release includes improved fingerprinting, additional improvements, and a few fixes.
Improved
- Fingerprinting. We improved fingerprinting for Click-to-Run installations of Microsoft Office products.
- Scanning efficiency. The Scan Engine no longer sends
Not Vulnerableresults to the Security Console unless it is needed for vulnerability correlation. This reduces scan times and disk space usage. Users who rely on having allNot Vulnerableresults available for reporting purposes, this behavior can be toggled with the Scan Template optionVULNERABILITY CHECKS -> Store invulnerable results. - Administration page. APIv3 response for
/api/3/administration/settingsnow appropriately returns global SMTP settings.
Fixed
- Scan findings now match across the Scan and Scan History pages more accurately in specific situations.
- The Vulnerability Affects Table no longer freezes while loading for some users.
- When the Security Console is restarted, incomplete agent-based scans that are unable to resume are now automatically removed.
