Simultaneous Scanning with AppSpider Enterprise

AppSpider allows you to install multiple scan engines and attach them with your AppSpider web console. A list of all your engines can be found on the Engines page.

When setting up a Scan Configuration for an application, the first tab (General settings) provides an option for selecting the scan engine or the engine group that will be used for scanning the application.

Since a scan engine will scan a single target at a time, simultaneous scanning is accomplished by assigning different scan engines to different scan configurations. The ability to assign engines to scans is also available with Scan Scheduling.

By using multiple scan configurations, a user can set one scan engine to scan an application and have another scan engine set to scan a separate application at the same time, so that multiple applications are scanned simultaneously.
