License
Hello, new experience!
With the version 25.5.13 release of InsightCloudSec, we've added a new version of the License page that improves the navigation experience and the look-and-feel. The old interface (Legacy UI) is on by default, but you can click the Switch to Modern UI button to test out the new interface.
You can access license information under Settings > System Administration > License in addition to version and billable workload information.
Data Collection
If you choose to select the Help us improve by allowing us to collect anonymous usage and Insight data checkbox, InsightCloudSec collects:
- Expanded anonymous product data. For example, numbers of specific resource types, totals of active Insights, and specific cloud types. This data helps us determine how and where our features are being used.
- We also collect anonymous information around navigation within our tool. We are able to observe navigation with all PII and customer data completely masked. This data is extremely helpful in the analysis of overall navigation and user experience workflows. It allows us to observe and replicate errors so we can track the steps taken that result in a broken workflow or poor user experience.
If you don't select the checkbox, InsightCloudSec only collects license validation and high level counts around generic product metadata (for example, number of organizations, number of Insights).
All Data Collection is Anonymous
All data is anonymous and collected with the sole intention of improving our product and user experience. If you have questions, feel free to reach out using the Customer Support Portal.
Billable Workloads
There are a few different graphs in this section that show the breakdown of the billable workloads found in the cloud accounts connected to InsightCloudSec. You can click Send Report to send the Billable Workload report to an email address. This requires SMTP to be configured for your organization. Visit ICS Organizations for details.
