Failed to Update
If you received a "Failed to Update" error message, you can take the following steps to download the latest version.
- Check to see if a network, firewall or proxy is interfering with the update process.
- Make sure you can connect to https://updates.metasploit.com over port 443 and port 80.
- Make sure there is no SSL stripping or inspection.
- You can get an offline update from https://help.rapid7.com/metasploit/release-notes/
