Temporary CSV Export Change in InsightVM

Rapid7 is currently addressing a performance issue related to CSV exports of asset-based tables that contain the “Containers” column.

What’s the issue?

CSV exports of some asset-based tables could result in a 504 Gateway Timeout while populating a value for the “Containers” column. Affected tables include:

  • Query Builder results
  • Expanded Dashboard cards
  • Goals & SLAs
  • Remediation Projects
  • Other cloud-feature detail pages

What’s changing in the meantime?

To mitigate against the performance impact that this issue poses, the “Containers” column will temporarily show no value in affected CSV exports until we can deploy a fix.

Where should I look for updates on this issue?

Rapid7 will publish a release note for this issue on the InsightVM release notes  page when the fix has been deployed.
