Change Alert Severity

Alerts are classified with a severity level, indicated by the color in the Alerts list and the designation in the Alert header. Changing the severity level of alerts can help to prioritize alert management.

You can change the severity of a single alert or of many alerts at one time.

To change the severity of one alert:

1. From the****Alerts list, select an alert.
2. From the Alert header, click the alert severity  .
3. Select the new severity level.

The alert severity is updated.

To change the severity of multiple alerts:

1. From the****Alerts list, select multiple alerts, as described in Perform Actions on Multiple Alerts.
2. From the Bulk actions toolbar, click  then select the new severity level.

The alert severity is updated.
