The AI Assistant Summary Card appears at the top of the Detection and Response Dashboard in the Command Platform home. It displays an AI-generated summary of the most relevant security trends, detections, and insights in your environment, drawn from your current dashboard data.

The card contains three parts:

  • Headline: The most significant takeaway from your current dashboard data.
  • Insights: Supporting findings, each tied to a specific figure from your dashboard data.
  • Sources: A numbered list of the widgets behind each insight. Superscript citation numbers link each finding directly to its source widget.

Select Generate AI Summary to create an AI summary based on your dashboard data. Additionally, you can choose to show or hide the summary as required.

The AI Assistant Summary Card summarizes your data only. It does not make recommendations, execute actions, or replace human analysis.

How the AI summary is generated

The AI summary is generated from the same data used to populate the dashboard widgets. The dashboard data and contextual information about the widgets are sent to a large language model (LLM), which generates a natural-language summary of the key findings./nThe summary is generated on demand and is not stored or persisted.
