This release includes new console commands for log time zone configuration and several fixes.

New

Customer Requested

  • Time zone configuration for logs: You can now use the command console to set the time zone that your Security Console logs will use. We added 3 new commands to accomodate this functionality:
    • log-time-zone list - List possible time zone options that can be set for logs.
    • log-time-zone reset - Reset the time zone for all log files to the default GMT time zone.
    • log-time-zone set [<timezone>] - Set the time zone for all log files.

Fixes

  • We fixed an issue where the format of some HTTP cookies would result in false positives for missing HttpOnly and Secure flags.
  • We fixed an issue with our CIS policies for Microsoft SQL Server that would cause certain rules to report errors due to invalid SQL syntax.
  • We fixed an issue that caused InsightVM to fail sudo privilege elevation if the sudo lecture banner was shown.
  • We fixed an issue where SLAs would report the incorrect due dates for some assets.
  • We updated the way we detect versions of Azul Zulu OpenJDK builds on Windows in order to resolve false positives.

Other Changes

  • The Exploitable Assets by Skill Level dashboard card no longer tracks assets with no known exploit. This change aligns the card with its original design intent and ensures that it provides the most meaningful data.
